As a city Liverpool has it all. A rich music history, two beautiful cathedrals, and a plethora of amazing architecture. Not to mention the world famous waterfront.
The culturally diverse city has an abundance of clubs, restaurants and bars suited to everyone's needs. Whether you fancy getting involved at an intimate gig, or want to dance into the early hours at a local rave, the nightlife covers all grounds.
It's also home to some of the finest galleries and museums in the UK, including the Walker, the National Gallery of the North and the Tate.
The city isn't short of iconic spots. There's the Philharmonic pub where John Lennon used to hang out and of course there's The Cavern club so if you’re a Beatles fan, you can be sure that Liverpool is drenched in the band’s heritage. The Beatles Story attraction is also dedicated to documenting the history of the band.
