Riverside Festival

Skiddle guarantee that we have the lowest booking fees available for Riverside Festival tickets. We are an official primary ticket outlet and all tickets are processed and dispatched by Skiddle direct to you. All our tickets are sold at face value and originate directly from the event organiser.

Riverside Festival takes place on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May 2024.

Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

 All tickets purchased for Riverside Festival 2023 are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you require a personal carer, please contact Riverside Festival directly. You will then be sent a Personal Carer request form to be signed and returned.

Riverside Festival is located at the Riverside Museum, 100 Pointhouse Road, Glasgow, G38RS

It's a 10 minute walk from Partick Train Station and Subway in Glasgow’s West End. If you are travelling into Glasgow, both Glasgow Central and Queen Street have connecting trains to Partick.

Yes you must be 18 or over to attend Riverside Festival. You may be asked to show photo ID.

In order to gain entry to the event and get served at any of our bars, in line with the Challenge 25 policy, the following types of ID are accepted: 

• Current UK or Overseas Driving Licence / Provisional Licence 
• Current UK or Overseas Passport
• Valid PASS Card (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
• Valid National ID card (Overseas Only)

In the event of the festival being cancelled, tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase minus your booking fee.

There are some key points below to help make the Riverside Festival a safe environment for everyone where you can party without worrying about being verbally or physically harassed. Everyone deserves respect and Riverside also support upholding the law when it comes to the terms of their licence.

Riverside Festival is an inclusive, fun and safe environment, where tolerance and freedom of expression are of paramount importance.

They will not tolerate abuse of any kind, whether it's towards our fellow ravers, members of staff, or performers. They operate a zero tolerance policy towards racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and all forms of discrimination. 

If anyone is subjected to anti-social behaviour, then please make this known to a member of security who will discreetly handle the situation. 

Everyone should feel safe in this environment and everyone should feel like the Riverside Festival is the place for them to go - anyone who harbours intolerance views, this is not the place for you.

Riverside Festival operates a zero tolerance policy to drugs. Anyone found with illegal drugs, including ‘Legal Highs' will be banned from the event and reported to the police. They will have drug disposal bins in the queues so you can deposit any drugs you may have with you.

Anyone involved in acts mentioned above will be duly banned from the event and reported to the police.

All event attendees will be subject to a search before entry is permitted to the event

Please don’t bring a bag unless it is absolutely essential. Bags larger than 30cm x 42cm (the size of a sheet of A3 paper) will NOT be permitted. Those who need to bring bags will be separated into bag search lanes, and may be delayed as a result of these searches. 

Please note that there are no storage lockers available at the event.

You may bring a non-professional camera into the event. If you wish to bring a professional camera you must contact Riverseide Festival first and seek permission.

NO glass bottles and glass containers (including perfumes) are permitted in the event. All glass will be confiscated and not returned

NO food & alcohol to be brought onto the site. 

NO drugs or weapons are allowed into the festival. This includes 'Legal Highs'.

NO drones, portable laser equipment, laser pens, air horns, megaphones, vuvuzelas, kites, spray paint cans, aerosols over 250ml, sound systems, gazebos, unofficial tabards and reflective jackets, or any item that could be considered a weapon, including multi-tools, are permitted. Flares, gas or smoke devices, fireworks, sparklers, Chinese / sky lanterns, firewood, candles or any flames are also not permitted. Items will be confiscated and not returned.

NO football colours allowed.

Tickets are digital only, you will not receive a physical ticket.

Walking to Riverside Museum is easier than you think!

Riverside Museum is on the North bank of the River Clyde, just along the Clydeside from the SECC going towards Partick (West). 

By Bus

Service 100, Riverside- SECC- City CentreRiversider 100 Service is the route to some of Glasgow's most exciting attractions! Operating every 30 minutes, hop on board the Riversider anywhere between George Square, SECC, The Tall Ship and Riverside Museum.

Easily identified by its striking design featuring all of these great Glasgow attractions, the Riversider takes 25 minutes to travel to the Riverside Museum from the City Centre.

By Car

Riverside Museum has a fantastic location in the west end of the city. From the M8 motorway, take Junction 19 and travel west bound along the Clydeside Expressway (A814) for about one mile to Pointhouse road. Then turn left into the Riverside Car Park area.

There is a Pay & Display car park at Riverside - £1 for a 4 hour maximum stay.

The car park has 12 spaces reserved for blue badge holders and these spaces are free of charge with no time restrictions.  The car park also has designated parent and child spaces.  

The disabled drop off point for the Riverside Museum is via the slipway road (to the right as you drive onto the Riverside site).  The Tall Ship disabled drop off point is the access road left of the museum.   

There is also a Pay & Display car park at Kelvin Hall, Bunhouse Road  (the previous home of the Museum of Transport) that's only a 15 minute signposted walk to Riverside.

Visitors may also use the SECC car park - charges apply - then it's just a short walk to the museum.
