Is Ange-ball going to propel Tottenham to new heights? It's certainly promising given the fact that Tottenham lie in second place towards the end of this latest round of Premier League fixtures. Spurs have been on a good run and it looked as though it was going to be over after Sheffield United took the lead against them.

But, in the 98th minute Richarlison equalised and two minutes later Kulusevski scored a dramatic winner. The early kick-off on Saturday saw Wolves host Liverpool and score early on to put the visitors under pressure. However, a brilliant second-half performance saw Liverpool score three, with young centre back Jarell Quansah making an impressive league debut.

Aston Villa were back to plying their best football against Crystal Palace going ahead through Edouard. The home side rallied, with the ever-impressive Diaby keeping up his form and being an absolute nightmare for Palace. One of the biggest results of the weekend was the visit of Brighton to Old Trafford.

The visitors looked the better side the entire match, being clinical when needed and scoring three before a belated United reply. The Seagulls play some excellent football and United look disappointingly dull despite their summer transfer spending. There is a lot of work to do for Ten Hag, who has been coming out with some bizarre excuses recently.

In a weekend of comebacks, West Ham were on the wrong side of one as they hosted Manchester City. Taking the lead through Ward-Prowse, a second half blitz by City came with goals from Doku, Silva and Haaland. In a close encounter, Newcastle got the edge over Brentford thanks to a Wilson penalty.

Bournemouth and Chelsea played out a stunningly dull 0-0 draw that is best forgotten about and Everton vs Arsenal was a case of attack vs defence as the away side dominated. A clever corner saw Trossard score the winner. In other news, European competitions will be back in action with City the obvious favourites for the Champions League and Liverpool maybe slight favourites for the Europa League.

For some football-related events take a look at the list below.
