In more recent years, rave has enjoyed a huge resurgence, and perhaps is the closest it ever will be to its hey day in the nineties. Central to rave culture during that golden period was Bowlers, a mega capacity iconic dance space that continues to create ever lasting memories to this day.
With Bowlers continuing to lock down superior measurements of legendary and fresh selectors, we've taken time out to highlight what they've got coming up during the Spring.
First up is Life on Saturday 7th March, the legendary warehouse party that dominated the venue at the peak of its powers in the nineties. Heading up a star billing of Old Skool is Dream Frequency, Wigan Pier reminisce the good times with the help of Ultrabeat (below) and Asylum touch down with old skool don Slipmatt in their roster.
Sidewinder stop by on Logan Sama, Artful Dodger and Big Narstie at the helm of a stacked line up to celebrate the club nights 16th year in operation.
Shadow Demolition hit their 15th milestone on Saturday 4th April and roll out a drum&bass roster as long as your arm to celebrate. Just about every big name is etched on there with DJ Sly pulling the strings for 90 minutes alongside Trigga, Bassman and Shaydee at the summit.
April Bank holiday is always a date ravers look out for, and Bowlers have that covered with Bounce Heaven curating their first showcase of 2015. The almighty Andy Whitby heads up the main arena with his immense range of hard dance behind the decks.
Hardcore is order of the day for Totally Lost It who also specialise in top of the range gabber. They celebrate their 11th Birthday on Art Of Fighters and Gammer. On Saturday 2nd May, giant brand Garage Nation bring the programme of mass hedonism to a close for Spring, with plenty more of the same to come in the summer months.
