Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
The event was extremely good as was the weather However, the downside was âSocial Eatsâ were only accepting âcardsâ and REFUSING âCASHâ which is legal tender therefore discriminating against people who only use cash. Extremely bad practice and a large chunk of business was lost to others who accepted both cash and cards.
Perhaps this could be rectified for future events where it is necessary for vendors to accept both forms of payments to be able to attend venuesâ¦..

An absolutely amazing festival set in an amazing location. Being a Suffolk lad seeing the beautiful Suffolk Punch horses was just perfect.
Fully enjoyed and would definitely recommend 👍🏻👌🏻👍🏻

Review of Holbeache House Farm
Would not return to Trimpley Heavy Horse Show. We stayed for an hour and left. You weren’t aloud to take your own food or drink which isn’t family friendly in this day and age. Food was very expensive, not a big range of choice. Everything was really far apart, was not easily accessible for pushchairs or the elderly. Was not enough seating provided. There was no “Horse Shows” like advertised. There was no information when the Shetland performance team were performing. For a heavy horse show it would have been nice to actually see some heavy horses being shown off. There was a few things advertised that weren’t there. Nothing like last year!!!
Massively disappointed in the day, just glad the tickets didn’t break the bank.
Walking round there were a lot of unhappy people. Think they need to re name it for next year!

Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
Everything was good yesterday there needs to be more stalls to make it a big interest event. Food was good & priced well. As these events are all about the same. The security staff were very good & made the event staff for all families. MY BIG NEGATIVE is the lack of accessible access to the event. My elderly mother who loves these festivals & shows & at 86 I’m certainly bringing her to this family event. Our problem was the road going into the fields was just HARDCORE!! It’s a wonder she didn’t fall out of the wheelchair. I saw quite a few people struggling to walk on this HARDCORE. Both elderly & young. Also dogs were struggling. All they needed to do was get the tractor out & make the road accessible. Please don’t exclude the seniors think again next year please.

Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
We had a great time here yesterday. Great atmosphere, gorgeous views, reasonably priced drinks and really tasty food. Enjoyed the tribute acts and we were the last to leave! Well done and I hope to see it running again. Lots of hard work and planning has obviously gone into this and it made the event so well run.

Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
We really enjoyed it. Didnât see where the horses were though? Saw ponies. Food was really really good and there was loads for children to do. Prices werenât crazy either.
We did hear a lot of complaints from people of a certain age about the music.
It was a lot of fun for families.

Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
No atmosphere at all, things were too far apart, Madonna tribute act was embarrassing to watch. Food stalls looked dirty and were overpriced.
We stayed an hour then went to another venue and had a lovely day.

Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
Werenât many horses and where there was, they were either closed off to the public in barns or Shetland ponies. Bit disappointing when itâs advertised as the heavy horse show. There werenât many stalls and the tribute acts were awful. The prices were very very expensive, as you couldnât bring your own food in. Very disappointed with my experience today. Will not be going back next year.

Review of Trimpley Music, Food & Heavy Horse Festival 2023
I feel completely ripped off, went a few years ago and there were lots of heavy shire horses on display but today 12 horses dirty unkept not happy looking horses and load of drink as Iâd food venues with a small fair would not recommend will not b Ed returning this is sad for me to say because I love to support locals and local events but no I have to be honest I lost 40 today and in this economic climate I could have fond far more with that money.
