Also Eden
Formed in 2005, Also Eden have released a handful of highly regarded albums. Following the return of founding members Huw Lloyd-Jones and Ian Hodson, the band are currently focussing on playing songs from their much-loved first two recordings, 2006’s ‘About time’ and 2009’s ‘It’s kind of you to ask’, both must-haves for fans of Genesis, Yes, Marillion and Porcupine Tree. These two albums – perhaps their most neo-prog in style – formed the backbone of their memorable live sets at the Summer’s End, Progfarm and Night of the Prog (Loreley) festivals. The band will also be showcasing new material from their forthcoming new album, ‘Open Skies’, due for release in 2024.

Also Eden have performed extensively across the UK and Europe and have developed an enviable reputation as an awesome live band.

The 2024 line up comprises:

Ian Hodson – keyboards
Guy Monk – drums
Simon Rogers – guitars
Huw Lloyd-Jones – lead vocals
Graham Lane – bass

EBB

EBB had an incredible 2023. Literally all their dreams came true. (Well, not all..)

Playing venues and festivals alongside their heroes and being privileged to play their music to some of the best, certainly most knowledgable, music fans in the world. What could be better?

Well, 2024, of course. As probably everybody knows, EBB are a part of a larger posse; they're an arts collective and last year was quite a shake-up for the other members in the wider group. Everyone rallied around the band. Folk who have their own musical projects and aspirations have put them on hold to get behind EBB. The Studio has been rebuilt and equipment purchased as more recordings and tours are planned. The excitement is intense.

At the start of the year the discerning readers of the excellent Prog Magazine voted EBB as 'Best New Band', which was an unforeseen honour. EBB's 2022 debut album release 'Mad & Killing Time' was followed by their 2023/24 EP 'The Management of Consequences', which is soon to be released on vinyl. As this is being written, another album is in the works and rehearsals are underway preparing the all new show (including video projections and stage performers!) for 2024.

As is the nature of the beast, more dates are still to come.

For those interested in 'Behind the Scenes' and 'Personal Journey' stuff, there is a short documentary available on EBB's YouTube channel called 'EBB WHO?!'

It pokes its nose into EBB's creative and recording process, personal feelings.. lifestyle, blah blah..and kind of answers the question: 'Where do those weird ideas and songs come from?'

The documentary, however, fails to explain Bad Dog's bizarre fashion sense, why Kitty Biscuits is a raving loony and really juicy stuff like 'who's with who?'

Stay tuned...
