BAND TAKEOVER: Eyes & The Peoples Temple

EYES
A band born out of misfortune. When their friend and songwriter Nick died in 2017, the 4 friends (Dave Olly Chris and Paul) were sat around a bench having a pint at his wake and thought maybe it would be a good idea to form some sort of tribute group in his memory playing songs he'd written. When they got in the studio they quickly realised this band had legs and started writing their own songs, their heavy psychedelic sound, often likened to THE STOOGES soon became a trademark and playing live is when they shine.

THE PEOPLE TEMPLE
Their recently released, and well received, EP 'Metempsychosis' is an anthology of songs conceived during the Covid19 pandemic, and brought to fruition throughout 2023. Drawing from the bands many influences, it's hard to pin down who TPT sound like, though Screaming Trees, Alice in Chains and Bush are some of the names mentioned. Mixing those rock feels with thoughtful lyrics and loud guitars to connect to the world.
