Joshua Brooks welcomes London-based DJ and producer Ozzie Guven on Friday, 24th May 2024, as he brings his boundary-pushing sound to Manchester. Joining him are UK brother duo Funk Cartel, known for their unique take on house music, and London's underground sensation Francis.

Ozzie Guven has been making a name for himself in the UK underground scene, drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of Grime, Garage, and Jungle. His productions have topped charts on labels like Seven Dials Records, Heavy House Society, and Microhertz, earning support from industry giants Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, and the Martinez Brothers.

Funk Cartel, co-founders of the well-established label THUNDR, have been showcasing their forward-thinking sound and unearthing world-class talent. Their high-energy sets have made them regulars at London's 93 Feet East and have taken them to iconic venues like Cafe Mambo in Ibiza. The duo's recent 'Discotexx EP' on Jamie Jones' Hottrax imprint has set the stage for an exciting year ahead.

Rounding out the lineup is Francis, a London-based DJ and producer known for his heavy tribal rhythms and driving basslines. With a background in old-school garage and bass house, Francis brings a unique European flair to his sets.
