if you were a fan of the Place basement and all things Soul & Boogie, this is for you! Proper underground, black dance music from an era where soul, boogie, funk & disco were king! Think Change, SOS Band, Mantronix & Loose Ends. If you’re expecting 80’s pop & cheese, this isn’t for you. Please take note of this as we want everyone to enjoy these events for what they are, not just turn up expecting an 80s themed night 🙏🏻

The Place was such an important club for so many here in Stoke on Trent and beyond and we can’t wait to celebrate the music and memories with you once again.
